Tremendous!

Postby Ignore Amos on Fri Jan 27, 2006 12:14 pm

Great job- the bike looks tremendous!, as Shiva mentioned- lets see more images but on a lager scale. Can you list which equipment you used for the mods etc? Are you going to powder coat the pegs/healprotector?

Thanks m8, im well chuffed wi it, ill take some more pics tomoz and post em bigger, just havin the rear hangers powder coated at the moment, should have em back next wk, if they look ok im gonna get the fronts done, but i like the look of those gear shifter and brake pedals for sale on pack parts web site for the k12s, need to find out if they will fit the r, plus they also come in black.
My ever decreasing bank balance is stopping me from spending any more money on my bike at the moment, but I just cant help myself

Hi NM,

Well as the rest have said, bigger pictures please. The bike looks very nice, are you going to get the seat hump as well.

I had better get my bike sorted, as if we ever meet up I don't want to be over-shadowed by you (only joking).

Bike looks very cool. IMHO you should leave the wheels black.

Hi NM,

Come on where are the larger pic's of your bike. Would be nice to see it with the seat hump on, and what you think of the carbon parts you have added, as regards fit.

HI m8, sorry for the late reply, been back in work on 12 hrs, heres some more pics for u, just taken the seat hump to be sprayed up on monday, so im hoping to have it back for fri, I cant fault any of the carbon parts ive had so far, delivery is quick, and jens was very helpful with any mails i sent.
These pics include the rear hangers back on the bike which ive had powder coated, as teh girlfriend has now decided she wants to go on the back.
The finish of the powder coating is great, the hangers now blend in with the look of the of the bike now that they are painted, thinkin of doin the fronts but ive had a few people say leave em as they are.
Also decided not to paint the rear wheel white, couple of reasons, 1 bugger to keep clean  2 im happy with the look as it is.
Ill hopefully get some pics on for wk end with hump on, fingers crossed

Nice NM! if you don't go with aftermarket German shifer/brake setup (have you seen Evo's new shifter? think that's the direction I'n going) I difinitly P/C your stock front stuff- the rear looks great as well as the whole paint scheme! I'd love to go that route as well but the black/black still is quite unique to me- what does the lettering on the headlight cover mean?

Hi NM,

Bike looks really good, but I think it will be finished off with the seat cowl, cant wait to see it then.

How are the handguards to ride with.

WooooooooooooHooooooooooo ive got my bike in the gallery  thanks Shiva....
Goin over now to see how hes doin wi the seat cowl, hopefully he should be nearly done, the handguards are great, they stop the wind chill that weve got at the moment in the uk  but apart from that i think they finish the look of the bike off.
Have u got a link or a pic ignore of evo's shifters, cant seem to find em, the lettering on the front wind screen is rimor who were a sponsor for the powercup 2005, they make motorhomes as far as i can tell.

Thanks for all the good coments off u guys, I really appreciate it.

NM- I think the seat cover will really finish off the bike.

Here's the link to Evo's pic of his shifter. Ken says sayes it does traditional and reverse (race) patterns and will be available in black too.
