Anyone know how to remove the speed limiter?

The title says it all...Is it a complicated process, or a simple hack of the ECU?

Ah! I maxed my baby out and it stopped suddenly around 295km/h. I assumed it was a speed limiter.

So, it's just the gearing then?

The K1200S has a top speed of about 174mph or about 278KPH. The K1200R can do about 164MPH or 262KPH. So, you did good... :) S

But still quite low for a 167HP bike. I want 300!

we have an interceptor box that will allow the programmer to bump the rev limiter by up to 1000 rpm (but sets a check engine light). once we get this worked out, we will let everyone know.
