Reminds me too much of Triumph green.

Still a cool machine 8)

Loved this color. What would it look like if this color was used on KS in conjuction with white aluminium, or black?
Photoshop anyone?

Looks like opinions are split on this one. Personally I like it on the naked R.

Cheers,

Green

Postby SPEEDFREAK on Tue Aug 14, 2007 1:07 pm

The green doesn't stand out enough for me. It would look much better if they painted the wheels green as well. It's those kind of touches that do it for me.

Oh no.....this guy has a fettish for green.....or he is just obsessed with it......or he realy likes it very much !

Would have been nice if the seat and the exhaust were green......and oh yes, the tires......I believe one can get coloured tires lately.......maybe in a nice shade of.......well,... green should work well. :)

I can see where he is coming from.......Kawasaki racing green. Not sure where he is going to though !

ps.

apologies if it's your bike Mr Green........no offence intended

Thank you for the welcome Jamie :D . Maybe you can help! is there anything that can help with the lack of feel from the front end on high speed bends I Have a 2005 K1200S. I had an Aprilia RSVR Factory before this might have some thing to do with the problem I have!!

As a Super bike rider myself, I can confirm the feeling of the K is different to the feeling of a Super Bike mainly due to the completely different design of the front end as apposed to the conventional. Over time I have learned to understand the differences and I must say, imo the dual over of the K is superior to the upside down forks.

After seeing a green R at the IMS in Feb., it actually is nothing like Triumph's Roulette Green or the Kawa green. BMW's green is a little darker in person - not so much of a lime green like the others. I don't mind it, as it's different. But, I still wouldn't buy it. I give them credit for offering it, though.
