Review: 10 Days on the F800S "The BMW Heretic"

I looked hard, long and objectively at the bike recently while my K12 was being attended too at the dealer.

From a million mile steeled veteran of LA urban street warfare I saw a lot of practicality/versatility for many rider demographics in the machine. What I DIDN'T see was a competitive PRICE when compared with other mainstream brands in its category. If BMW incorporated their great Telelever suspension the bike would be a middle weight champ at their current asking price; but suspended as it is it's just an overpriced also-ran.
