There are 3 Ways to Upload and Post Images

Postby SHIVA on Fri Sep 05, 2008 9:08 pm

Hi Guys, I am very happy to report that with our state-of-the-technology forum platform we have access to 2 methods of uploading images and 1 linking to images.

TWO WAYS TO UPLOAD IMAGES:
Option 1: When you're about to create a post, with the posting window open, look for "• Add image to post" just under the posting window on the bottom left corner. Click on that and simply upload images of any pic size and any file size.

Option 2: When you're about to create a post, with the posting window open, look for the tab "Upload Attachment" here you can upload images of relatively smaller size.

OR TO LINK TO IMAGES THAT ALREADY LIVE ONLINE:
Option 3:
1: Find your preferred image online.
2: Right click on the image (MAC Control Click).
3: In Internet Explorer: Check under properties for image address.
3: In Firefox: look for Copy Image Location.
4: Copy the image address, by highlighting it and then hitting 'copy.'
5: Create a post, or edit your current post on this forum.
6: Paste your image address. And then highlight it.
7: Click on 'Img' button on top of the posting window.
8: Voilà...........

I hope with these 3 bulletproof options we'll get to see lots of images from you guys.

Here's an example of Option 1 uploading image:

Do you mean avatar? Resize your picture max 155 pixels wide. Upload it somewhere, right click over it and copy address. Then from "User Control Panel" paste it as your avatar address. It will be in all of your post after that.

Guys, There are new options available for uploading images using "Add image to post."

When you do upload your image, please select the 640X480 For Message Boards option. It works the best and you'll see your images real big. Thanks. :) S

If you want to share a PC3 map, Excel chart etc is there a way to attach other files other than pictures?

:(

Personally 1 vote that this is a bit restrictive. Better information sharing could be achieved if other attachments could be shared.

I don't know of any forum that allows file sharing. it's a question of security, copyright issues and viruses.
