Halfway home, trailering my "new" '02K12RS (11K mi, looks damn new), one tie down srrap fails. Bike falls over on left side. Drove another 30-40 miles to a help stop, uprighted the bike and re-jigged the hold down. Got home in one piece.
So the tipover left me with fluid leaks, red and a blue, concentrated over / down the shift lever, a bent shift lever, disolocated left bar control,and left peg.
Looks like the blue / green fluid might be coolant. The redish / orange could be brake / clutch. But I'm not suire.

Ugh. That's terrible.
No specific advice, but be careful to find all of those leaks. If you question your ability, get it to a dealer.
